In 1955, Carl W. Peter founded
the Carl W. Peter Agency in New Tripoli, Pennsylvania. The agency began
as a part-time insurance agency, insuring eighty (80%) percent of the
area farms and small businesses. In 1979, the agency changed to a full-time
agency. The agency is currently owned and operated by James W. Imschweiler
and his son David J. Imschweiler.
